How It Works
From “we need space”
to done in a day.
Moving things into storage has a reputation, and we've spent twelve years dismantling it. Here's the whole journey — van, carts, lock, and all.
01
Reserve in two minutes
Pick a size online — no card, no deposit, no commitment. We hold your unit for seven days and the price you see is the price you pay. No 'admin fee' surprise at the desk.
- No card required to hold
- 7-day free hold
- Price locked at reservation

02
Pack at your own pace
Boxes, tape, wrap, and mattress bags are in the lobby shop, cheaper than the big-box store. Grab our free room-by-room labeling kit — future you, hunting for the coffee maker, will be grateful.
- Lobby supply shop
- Free labeling kit
- Packing guides included

03
Move in the easy way
Book the free move-in van — driver included — for any unit 5×10 and up. Pull into the covered bay, load a flatbed cart, and roll wide, bright corridors straight to your door. Your lock's already inside.
- Free van & driver
- Covered loading bay
- First lock on us

04
Come and go like it's home
Your fob opens the gate, the door, and your floor from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Cameras cover every corridor, each unit is individually alarmed, and autopay means you never think about it.
- Daily 6am–10pm access
- Individually alarmed units
- Set-and-forget autopay

Day One
The fine print, minus the fine print.
Bring almost nothing
A photo ID and your reservation email. That's the whole list — the lease is three pages of plain English and takes five minutes at the desk.
Forget something? We stock it
Boxes, tape, bubble wrap, mattress bags, and rope in the lobby shop, priced below the big-box stores. Open whenever the office is.
Coverage, sorted
Most renters and homeowners policies already cover storage. If yours doesn't, protection plans start at $9/month — add or drop any time.
Questions
Everything people ask first.
Is it really month-to-month?
Yes — every unit, every size. There's no lease and no minimum stay. Give us ten days' notice when you're done and your last bill is prorated. Most neighbors stay about a year, but that's their choice, not a contract's.
What does climate controlled actually mean here?
The whole building holds between 55°F and 78°F with humidity kept under 55%, all year. Chicago winters and Julys never reach your unit — so wood doesn't warp, photos don't stick together, and electronics don't sweat.
When can I get to my things?
Every day, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with your key fob. The office is staffed 9–6 Monday through Saturday. Need true 24-hour access for a business? Ask us — we set that up case by case.
Do I need my own lock and insurance?
Your first lock is on us — a disc lock is in your unit on move-in day. For coverage, your renters or homeowners policy usually extends to storage; if not, protection plans start at $9/month at the front desk.
What can't I store?
The usual: nothing flammable (gas, propane, paint thinner), nothing perishable, nothing alive, and nothing running a business out of the unit itself. Cars and motorcycles are welcome in drive-up sizes with current registration.
Is there really a free move-in van?
Really. Reserve any unit 5×10 or larger and you can book our van — with a driver — for two hours on move-in day, free. It's the single most-used perk we offer, so book your slot a week ahead.
Step one takes two minutes.
Reserve your unit now, move in whenever you're ready — we'll hold it free for seven days.
